    Well that answers that questions, bears are deterred by the releasing of bowels. Would be a heck of a chaffing walk though.
    We all know the one that got bit was the slower of the two.


    Very glad they made it out alright, will be a crazy story.

    That is why one of the first pieces of equipment I purchased and became familiar with for backpack hunting was a Ruger Vaquero .45 LC.

    I agree, if I'm going into bear country to hunt the least I'm going to carry is pepper spray. More than likely my off duty carry weapon.

    The experienced bow hunter could've been a mother-in-law..in any case never get between Yogi and a free meal.
