Just want to know any input about the GrizzlyStik Nanook broadhead for big game animals.
I have never used them, but they seemed to be working.
We hunt a lot of big game in Africa and used German Kinetic up until now...
Some good and some not so good results.

What is the broadheads they make?

    Thank you

I think the single bevel tanto tip Nanook would be better than the silver flames for what you do. You may also want to look at the Samurai. You could get the 200 grain and use a 100 grain insert to get the front end you would want.

Yes, i see the silver flame is very similar to the G Kinetic!
Which is the strongest between the Nanook and Samurai would you say?

The Nanook is forged from a solid piece of steel so I would say it is the stronger of the two. I have the Samurai's and I believe it would be strong enough for the game you are hunting. The Nanook comes in just one weight, 315 grains, but the Samurai has different weights, 100, 125, 150, 175, 200, if you needed more versatility in that area.

Bruce quick side question do you shoot the Samurai's with regular arrows or the tapered kind at Alaskan Bowhunting?

Yes, i do hunt a lot of smaller species as well and then it would make sense to use the Samurai as it has more options on the weight.
How do they fly? Since they are fixed blade and 2 blade? On a heavy rig like for elephant we shoot 1000gr and up - they should fly nice, but when you shoot a normal rig made up for normal game such as Impala and Kudu and the speed is fast. - do they still fly good with tight groupings?

Yes, they fly just fine. I have had no problems with them impacting with my field points. Since you hunt big game with heavy arrows then I am sure you are aware of the importance of a good FOC and and a heavier arrow. I have had the Samurai on a 525 grain arrow with 19% FOC and it performs perfectly.

Absolutely! It is vital! I have seen when the FOC was not perfect on elephant and on video playing slow motion you can see the arrow lost of energy on impact because the arrow did not entered straight on impact and first had to "twist" then straighten and then started penetrating ( i don't mean bend as in lose shaft) i hope you understand what i mean? (Sorry not my first language). I wish he had brought the tapered shaft with the Single Bevel Broadheads!
