What kind of meat grinders do you all use for processing your deer? My dad has one on his band saw so we don’t really need another one but I’d like to pick-up a second one to speed up the processing if I can get one for the right price. Since we don’t really need it I’d like to stay in the $150.00-$200.00 range. I see a few 3/4HP grinders on eBay in my price range but I don’t know anything about them.

    Thanks

i would say depending on how many deer you will plan on processing in a season helps decide. we have a big group of local guys that all process ours together at one place. we've cut up over 50+ in a year for everybody and their dogs around the surrounding areas. YES LEGALLY. We wont even touch one unless it has been tagged. so it helped to have our big grinder. if your just talking 1-2 per year, go ahead and get a cheaper one, just keep them cleaned and the blades sharp.
