Well I just applied for 5 of the drawn hunts. I see that you are pretty much placed by TPW personnel on these hunts, but I'm wondering how does scouting deer on public land work? I mean, I'd hate to ruin someone else's hunt while looking for good place to set up a blind? What's the ethical protocol here?
The first one my friend went on it was him and his two buddies on the hunt so the warden let them decide the hunting spots on their own since it was just the three of them. And the second one he was on he told me everybody was designated a section of the area. They all differ some you are in a designated blind or you free roam your area. I am probably only going to apply for the spring turkey and alligator hunts for this year; only because I wont have the time to do a lot of the hunts they have this season.
