Hello everyone, I'm completely new to the archery world and hunting. I have had the itch to try out compound bow target shooting and finally found a place that was reputable and had a good selection. I was pretty much hooked the first thump of that arrow going through a target lol. I've been wanting to go hunting for a while now, but can't justify paying an obscene amount of money for 100 LBS of meat. I've been watching the Youtube channel Bowhunt or Die and decided to finally come on board and introduce myself. One of the biggest concerns that I have is that it seems no one hunts down here in Tampa! If that's the case, is there anywhere reasonably close by that has some decent hunting for a beginner? Also I was curious as to what sight is recommended? I've had my eye on something like the HHA Sports King Pin as well as the Trophy Ridge React 5 Pin. Thank you for your support and help. I'll keep reading and looking around!
Welcome to the addiction. I love the HHA sites and you may want to look into Archery Outfitters near Arcadia Fl for a good weekend hunt. http://www.archeryoutfitters.us/index.cfm
Welcome. I'm originally from fl and there is definitely some good hunting down there. Especially for hogs. There's good state land and usually people are willing to let you hunt private land just to be rid of them. Be safe have fun.
How do you find out what good hunting land is and who to ask to hunt there? Sent from my SM-G900T using Tapatalk
