Well it would be awesome to hunt white tail with bow but unfortunately it's illegal here. Biggest game here what's legal with bow is a roe deer.

Welcome to the site!...as for the whitetail in Finland - I know they were introduced quite a while ago, and have proliferated, so why can't you hunt them with the bow? Gun hunting is legal for them I believe(am I correct? or is this just for a select few?). I hear your whitetails have greater body size but smaller racks(like the bucks around here for the most part).

Yup, gun hunting is legal. Finland is a small country and we have an association for bow hunters. Some of the bowhunter use traditional bows and for some reason they formed own association for traditionalbow people. And if we're gun hunting for example white-tail we have to shoot a test. And Finnish bowhunting association have been in touch with politicians to get white-tail bow legal. The thing is that if we get white-tail legal there's a chance that we have to shoot a test with bow too. In this part comes in traditional guys, because they say it's unfair for them compared to compound guys. So we have like handful of bowhunters in the whole country split in 2 and we're all pissing each others breakfast cereals. That's how we do it. Ridiculous.
