I would have guessed this year and one more. 36 is an old qb. I don't think 3 is a stretch, but at the end of this year or next if you're not competing I would say rebuild.

I think you will see that. However, I am not sure it will be an overhaul rebuild. Should we feel Hundley continues to impress or Callahan is a plug and be kinda like Alex Smith....the BIG issue though is all the teams with a serviceable QB that do well have an excellent run game...we do not have this and will not survive life after Rodgers without one and unless lightening strikes a 3rd time for the organization.

Then what is he doing or not doing wrong? I get a kick out of people who talk like they no more about playing/coaching football than those actually getting paid millions to do it.

Dom can't make a player not blow a coverage, or not beat a block, Dom doesn't make them miss tackles. There are different mixes of zone and man coverages, nobody is doing anything that much different.

Dom asks Jake Ryan to fall back in coverage, poor Jake is as bad as AJ Hawk was, that is a scheme problem and that is on Dom

who should he be sending, Martinez? Thomas? He hasn't had a whole lot of choice in the matter. He might have a better option this year if Jones is able to play the Hybrid SS/ILB role.

No sending a LB to cover a TE is acceptable because body size and foot speed are similar, asking a LB to cover a RB or WR, is not clever scheming is has been a recipe for disaster and needs to stop.

Again what is the choice? the offense determines what players will be on the field and the defense has to match. If a RB is in, the defense needs to have a ILB in order to protect against the Run. they could risk trying to use a S but that typically doesn't work because they are not practiced at shedding Olineman blocks. That is hopefully where Jones comes in and can handle both.

The LBers are not matching up covering WR. The only time they end up on one is when they are covering a Zone and the WR comes through it. They are not even coving TE usually, that task has been given more to a CB or S as they have the speed to have a better chance against todays pass catching TEs.

Defensive scheme is the match up against the O there are alternatives to having an inside backer on a a rb or receiver.

Sure and the alternatives also have downfalls that good Offensive coaches will take advantage of. Dom did change things up through the year last year. He used Burnett more at the ILB in passing situations, and it is no coincidence that as they did that, the run defense dropped off. He can only put the players he has in. Hopefully Martinez comes on in his 2nd year, and combined with Jones help in that aspect. ILB has been a weak position personel wise.

Yeah at his current rate in 5 years he will only be the 3rd best QB in the league.

I actually think Rodgers gets one more SB. I do think he plays 5 years yet.

Rodgers said he was gonna play till 40. The Packers quarterback situation will be fine in the future.

Heres something to ponder, Every year Brady has won a Super Bowl he has had a top 10 defense (#1 multiple times).

Rodgers has had a top 10 defense once in his career. Care to guess what year that was?

Rogers has lost his swagger:). Packers go 6-10 this year, mark it down.
