No they originally traded away their 14th pick for the 27th and the Saints first round pick next year. Which is as typical of a terrible packers draft move as one could think of. But, then they traded back up to 18 to get Alexander and they get to keep an extra first round pick next year. I think they originally wanted Micah Fitzpatrick from Bama but when he went at 11 they decided to make some moves. They still have like 12 picks left. I'd be willing to bet they trade quite a few away to get another 2nd and 3rd round pick. Good job Gutekunst.
Wonder why the Patriots didnt take Lamar Jackson? There was talk they were going to move up to take him and then he falls in their lap at 31 and they take another RB?
