Define good team...are they favorites to be super bowl contenders without him? No. But give me average quarterback play and I bet we are in the playoff hunt at the end of the year. Still better then lions and bears for sure.

I am honestly more optimistic than I was last year at this time. Dom is gone and that is an improvement, Ted stepped down and it was past time for that as well. Things are shook up we will see if the head coach needs to be replaced as well.

    Lots happened this offseason.

I don’t believe we got worse, I don’t believe we got a lot better. We still have the draft and late FA (when we signed Woodson in the past).

I’m gonna miss Jordy and Janis but sports is a business. Can’t get too attached to the pawns in the big picture.

The Packers will have a patch on their jerseys this year, acknowledging 100 years of existence. If not for teams like the Packers and the Bears there would be no NFL.

Dez Bryant to the Packers would be a scary thing... Please go somewhere else.

Dez is about to realize how little teams are going to want to pay him. He’ll probably just retire rather than take a huge pay cut.

And what happened? After that he was cut and $ he was paid were recovered. I was not a big fan of that signing.

Do any QB's ever have a say or are involved in personnel matters?

According to an unnamed packer fan(sota), Rogers has a say in how the sun rises and sets;)

Brett was when Sherman was the coach/GM caused a lot of problems Brett was a diva. Did you know Brett typically did not fly home with the team after a game did not dress in the regular locker room, etc.

You know Germ if you are going to throw crap out there it should have a shred of truth to it or be funny, your post had none of that.

Did not know that. In my opinion Rodgers should not be concerned at all what the team is doing with its personnel. That is not his job. His job is to be a QB. If the reports are true then he's acting like a diva just like Brett.
