If the packers go 13-3, I'll paint my chest in packers green and attend a lions game shirtless the following season.

I do not wager with fans of expansion franchises, it is like beating up your little sister.

I see how it is. Deep down you know the Vikings have a much better team. Put your money where your stinky cheese mouth is, Sota.

The only wagers I make on football is with a bookmaker with $ involved and I would never bet on the Packers, you never ever wager on a game where you have emotions in the outcome. Same reason I would not bet on a vikings game.

We have a different thought process on that. I play fantasy baseball/football season long leagues, play Fanduel/Draftkings daily for football/baseball, and bet on games through a bookie in Vegas. I'm a Vikings/Twins homer and my emotions are involved, but I'm still going to take a certain player from them, or bet on the spread if I'm confident in it. If it's a smart play, you play it.

Vikings over the Packers next season is simply a smart play.

Jake the vikings peaked last year, that was as good as it gets for the franchise. Remember 2010 viking fans thought they were going back, I believe it was sound thrashing by the Packers that got Chili fired.

I truly don't believe the Vikings peaked last year. Same exact pieces, plus pieces added, are in place to do the same this year as last year.

Vikings over the Packers next season is simply a smart play.

Smart play? In March. The simply is the thought process, your QB could have a non contact injury before the first game is played.

Going to Vegas in May. Will be putting $100 on the Vikes to win the division. Even with our back up qb we are the better team (see last year, except we used a 3rd string, not backup, with backup RBs).

It’s amazing how quickly people forget just how good Aaron Rodgers is....it should be fun to watch anyway

It's amazing how quickly people forget just how bad the rest of the Packers team is outside of Rodgers... Should be a fun year.

People forget the viking have a record of 57 years of futility, every 3-4 years the vikings pop up and their fans act like they have been there before.

You for sure don't forget that. If I had a dime for every time you've said that I'd be rich.

Packers fans, honest question: Do you believe the Packers are a good team without Aaron Rodgers?

If I'm being completely honest, I'de rather have your head coach and the Packers roster. I think Rodgers tilts the field that much :) However, I think your head coach would make our defense at least serviceable.

If I go through the depth charts Thielen, Smith and Rhodes are obvious upgrades to the Packers roster. (Not to go off on a tangent, but I don't think Diggs/Thielen is far away better than Adams/Cobb except we don't use Cobb's strengths much). Other than that, the most obvious difference was the performance of your backup QB compared to the Packer's backup.

Packer fan for life here. Grew up in Green Bay 3 blocks from the stadium. Would go to practice everyday and had packer players ride my bike everyday in the summer. Third generation season ticket holder. But, no. The Packer's aren't a good team without Rodgers and last year proved that. But, to say they don't have any other good players isn't true.
