That’s the frustrating part about being a Packers fan.

In 2010 and then most of 2011 the stars were aligned for an all time great run with Rodgers. It’s been downhill ever since because of the team around him, mostly the defense. Very frustrating.

Super Bowls are a team accomplishment.

Greatest of all time definitely considers the rings, but there is so much more too it.

First thing you’ve said I agree with.

If you don’t think Aaron is a top 10 QB of all time then you simply don’t know football.

He has all the stats to back it up. Projected to finish top 5 in wins, TD passes, yards with modest production by his standards over the next 5 years. He actually has a chance to break Manning’s TD record if he averages 37 TDs for 6 seasons (not impossible).

He has a ring. Will have 4-5 chances to get a 2nd.

Multiple MVPs. Also 4-5 chances to get a 3rd.

He also has the WOW factor when it come to great plays, clutch moments, and backing up his talk.

Not to mention there’s never been a quarterback to ever play who can throw as accurately as he can on the run.

Let’s throw in the fact that he makes less mistakes than any quarterback to EVER play, regardless of starts..20...100...150, his TD to interception ratio is an out of this world 4.2-1.

The only reason he isn’t regarded as a top 5 greatest is because he plays in the era of Brady/Manning and will never win 4 Super Bowls like Montana did.

I don't agree with some of the projections you made, Dan Marino always thought he was going to get back after his rookie year and speculating about possible MVP's is pure fantasy. I will say Aaron is a sure fire can't miss hall of fame player. He will be the 25th Packer inducted.

I don’t think it’s pure fantasy, this year will haunt us for a long time, Rodgers was on pace to finish in the top 1 or 2 in every category this season, probably easily winning another MVP. Drew Brees wasn’t throwing for 5k yards, nobody had 40 TDs. It was a gimme year.

It’s not “fantasy” for someone to accomplish something 3 times. Once...yes. Look at Cam Newton, but for Rodgers? He’s been a top 3 MVP candidate 4-5 times.

The Super Bowls maybe, it’s the ultimate team sport and he hasn’t had help in that regard.

Great point, it's why the Jags model might be better going forward. Instead of eating all your payroll on one guy, build a team.

Brady accounts for a 14 million cap hit.

The list of players more expensive than that is astounding.

Brady is still the highest paid player on the team by 5.5 million and while the yearly salary is 14 the cap hit is 22.

What % of the salary of the cap does salary take? 14 million for a QB the caliber of Brady is cheap. Watch the Minnesota or the Eagles when or if they have to pay their QB's, watch happens to the rosters. I was totally against paying Stafford, why? because now a team has to draft perfect, you can't make a mistake. How much of the cap does Rogers salary eat?

I called it years ago...the Seahawks run would be over once they Russell.

That defense full of “highest paid” for old and they missed the playoffs.

Only two more needed to match the Bears for the most in the HOF.
