Been thinking, even if Rodgers returns, I do not believe this team has any chance at winning the Super Bowl this year. Or making it far in the play offs if they even make them. The defense just isn't what it needs to be. That being I'm not sure I want to see Rodgers back on the field this year. What I don't know is if I want to keep Hundley going hopefully showing something that will make him trade material for some team this off season. Or knowing that Hundley is not the teams future and that he will probably not be around more than next year, should they give the last three games Callahan. He might possibly be the backup next year, and it would be nice to have a few real games of experience behind him in case we need to him to play some in the future.
You are correct Remmett however I think Aaron will play till they are eliminated I believe he would really enjoy playing against the vikings again.
With Rodgers, you never give up. Get in and if he gets hot for 4 games, that's all you need. Also, we have Hundley for another season, so why not give him experience. If you think he is no good, get him out now then. Rodgers will play if he can no matter what IMO. Too much money at stake for him to sit on the bench healthy. Jay the Packers only call it their Super Bowl when they actually play in the Super Bowl, see since they have won it before only expansion franchises have meaningful games that are not actually the super bowl that they call their Super Bowl.
Rodgers makes Jordy a better player and is his favorite receiver. Pretty simple. Nelson led the league with six touchdowns through five games but hasn't caught one since Hundley took over. Same thing happened in 2013. Nelson caught seven touchdowns in the first seven games before Rodgers got hurt. He caught only one after that. Rodgers has simply made Jordy's career.
I agree...I have Davante on one fantasy team and Jordy on another....I instantly after a couple weeks set Jordy. Hundley and Adams had a thing going. AR has that same thing with Jordy...but arguably as well with Adams and Cobb and Geronimo...(but to a lesser degree moving left to right LOL). Again the uphill battle to get to the playoffs is incredibly steep...but with AR I'm not saying not possible. Good news is the final three games are against playoff hunt teams....but we still need a little help from a couple other teams.
If the Packers win Sunday when we have our company christmas luncheon on december 21 I am getting a gift to share with my viking coworkers, an extra large box of Depends.
I am trying to not be too optimistic but, look at last year when Aaron said we can run the table. I think it is different this time Aaron is kinda pissed the Packers need to win Sunday to justify him playing against the vikings and I believe he really wants a shot at the vikings it is going to be a chippy game. I have watched a motivated Aaron, do not think I have seen a pissed off motivated Aaron kinda looking forward to watching it.
Very excited my Son will be home for Christmas break and will actually have time to watch the game with me. We will be in the Packer bunker it has been a while.
