To be fair one was in a "gotta force something" time frame...and that last 84 yard drive was impressive and a good sign from him with next to zero snaps with the #1's in the week. I don't expect him to be great, but I wouldn't be shocked if we are talking about the reason for an L should one come doesn't fall on his shoulders in the coming weeks.

Football reasons, on the field, what can the packers do now?

That's true when Rogers is back there, plus the Packers could not protect Rogers, how are these guys going to get the ball. If it was as simple as flare passes to the flats, why was Rogers under so much pressure?

Because McCarthy and Rodgers don't game plan for 3 yard completions, they look for 10-15 yards and if those break down, counting on Rodgers escaping to buy time and improvising. Much like when Flynn went in, McCarthy is forced to game plan different.

Well they knew the Vikings defense going into the game last weekend was strong so maybe they need to work on their game plans? Not a one size fits all game plan.

Not sure how anything can be said about the game plan for Rodgers, because we didn't get to see two possession's of it. Rodgers was 2-4 for 18 yards and should have been 3-4, Bennett dropped a perfect pass on the injury play.

I'm just saying he was under pressure the whole time albeit very little time. That usually equates to the said 3 yard completions. Rodgers does have the ability to make plays last longer than a typical QB which is also likely the reason for the injury.

I think the real reason for Rodgers injury is he wears shoulder pads with very little protection. Look at the difference between Rodgers and Brady. Sure looks like Brady has a lot more protection.

I play fantasy football. I’ll bet you mnhunterr will continue to bite at your trolling.

For Green Bay I’m just hoping Hundley has some protection and to even keep a running back or tight end in to block. Let the wr’s hopefully get open and see what he can do. No need to send 5 guys in pass routes. Extra blockers! Protection is the key!

Wasn't exactly biting... Just trying to have a discussion on why I feel they won't win 6 games rest of the way.

And I am not kidding about fantasy football that is not the way the game was meant to be watched or consumed.

I am not going to try to explain how to slow down pass rush or blitzes with running the ball and screen passes, if you can not grasp that a coaching staff will alter a game plan based on who is playing QB, and realize that a guy coming in cold is going to struggle and a weeks prep and practice can work wonders I can not put in words that you will understand. We will see if the QB whisperer and offensive genius is as good as some think he is. The Packers have the best receiving core in the division this will assist a great deal, use the rush to set up the pass.

I understand I am old and set in my ways, the younger generation is into that kind of thing.
