My post for this thread: Proud of our boys. Played in 9 straight must win games, won 8 of them. Got decimated by injuries and lost to the 7th best offense of all time. Next year, hopefully management will see what the fans do and make some changes from the top up. McCarthy is safe, but the defense needs an overhaul. To many embarrasing showings in the playoffs. Atlanta is really good. Really, really good. Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
Aaron Rodgers is 0-35 when trailing by more than 1 point in 4th quarter against teams with a winning record. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Decimated Defense the d-backs could not keep up, lost coverage. Like Mike said they ran into a buzzsaw. Go Pack Go. They will reload and improve.
The Pack fights bad coaching and a bad front office. People argue but look at the facts: Defense sucks every year (Capers and Thompson). The offense wins games, but almost ALWAYS on plays called or improvised by Rodgers. Hail Marys. Sideline grabs. Assorted sandlot plays. It isn't McCarthy's plays that win, it is ALWAYS Rodgers' arm. Arguably the best quarterback to play the game has one ring. With decent coaching, think more along the lines of Brady, who is about to get his fifth.
There is disappointment but like I said from 4-6 to making it to the NFC championship game was a great ride. I think Packer fans need to just relax. The Packers have been in the playoffs 8 straight years, meaning they have been a competitive team. Things could be much worse, we are not fans of the 4 NFC teams that has not played in a Superbowl since the turn of the century. Think about that elite group and the fans of those teams have nothing to root for other than the loss of a much more competitive franchise. We are blessed and I am confident in the future based on changes in the front office. I used to be a fire Dom guy but there were d-backs out there that would normally not see the field if not for injuries.
There is some truth to this for sure. We will never know if Rodgers was goat. He likely is the most gifted and talented. But will never have the rings brandy will have. That is very likely due to what surrounds him more than him. But can't take anything away from Brady. Other than enjoying gay butt sex. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Aaron Rodgers has 3 playoff losses where his defense allowed 44+points. Tom Brady's defenses have NEVER allowed 44 points in his 267 starts Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I am a little surprised a Packer fan would make that comment. There were people talking and questioning Aaron before Munn but I don't remember anyone here using that to give you guys ****.
Well until the free agent season starts and OTA's nothing to talk about. Packers fans usually don't pop off when their team is out of it, a habit fans of other teams should learn.
This is why I didn't understand when tom said after the Atlanta loss, Rodgers isn't in the running for GOAT. If Rodgers had the patriots defenses, he'd probably have 6 Super Bowls. You can't blame Rodgers when in Rodgers 7 playoff losses, the defense has given up 36.2 pts per game.
They are still mad at him for having the nerve to play somewhere else after they didn't want him anymore.
I broke the news to Cullen Jenkins and Ryan Pickett that Brett wanted to return to the Packers. Neither player was excited about the possibility. The tide turned for Brett when Sherman (who let Brett be a jr GM) was fired and McCarthy came in and let Brett know he was not going to be treated special and Brett pouted. Brett's penchant for throwing season ending ints in playoffs games also lead to fans saying don't let the door hit you on the way out. Brett was not loved in Green Bay when he played for the Jets, so to say the resentment started when he went to the vikings is not accurate.
You're going to break your arm patting yourself on the back like that. Not sure how that ties into the Favre/Rodgers convo at all
