Without Rodger they could afford to buy a better defense. Ever notice that the teams usually with the best defenses are not paying a top tier QB. Look how Seattle defense has stepped back after giving Wilson his contract. How Ravens have declined after signing flacco to a big contract. Mn has had a pretty stout defense with no QB. Bears were a tough defense until they started paying cutler.

Tom Brady has had a top 10 defense every year but 2 if I remember the discussion I just watched this past weekend.

He’s had the #1 defense for 3 outta 5 Super Bowls I believe. Really helps the legacy when you have support like that.

NE is an anomaly. I think that is a result of Belicheck. He is at heart a defensive coach and he doesn't seem to believe in taking the foot off the gas. Also, that is a byproduct of being in a terrible division. They have been "padding" their stats against a terrible Buffalo, Miami and Jets offenses for most of those years.

Brady's willingness to have a cap hit significantly less than what he could earn leads to that. $14m cap # in '17...

All they do is dominate pathetic competition the reason the Packers do not win the SB every year is because they are not steeled against difficult opposition in the defense of the division crown. If the Packers had tough opponents within the division they would be better in the playoffs.

New England has been beating up on Miami, Buffalo and the Jets. I don’t think any other division has been consistently tougher than the NFC North.

Would really like to see Rodgers throw about 4 more TD to help my fantasy team.

    Go Pack Go!!

Only time I root for them or any team other than the Steelers is when they play the Cowboys.

Takes a bit of the sting off that Steelers loss.

I just wish I could have seen Ol Jerry's face on the Dak TD rum co.pares to the Adams catch.

    Need a side by side!!!
