Who in their right mind is drawing up a scheme that involves man coverage on Julio Jones? Oh yeah the same clown that will use Jake Ryan in pass coverage.

Have you not ever seen what Julio does to Zones? There is a far better chance against them with Man coverage with Help which is what they were using.

The home team won last night that is what good teams do win at home.

I think the help missed the help also.

To me though this is a learning season, next year is the window. Burnett spent most of the night at LB, with our Rookies playing a lions share of snaps, King at CB played the 2nd most CB snaps behind House and Jones at S played the 2nd most S snaps behind HaHa. I'm sure there was a bunch of assignments messed up and communication issues. But hopefully the experience pays off in the future.

All kidding aside Rodgers is not getting much help. O-line sucks bad and maybe an average run game. Maybe 2 secs to throw last night, lol. If they can improve the run game some and the o-line could at least play decent they will go to the playoffs. If that is good as it gets from an o-line and run offense then Rodgers will wind up hurt and they are maybe a .500 team. Bright side they will win the next 2, but after that the real tests will start.

Damn Bears, is Mitch ready yet?

We were outplayed in all facets of the game. The Falcons are defending champs for a reason and opening the new stadium gave them a boost.

I'm not too upset with a 1-1 start against super bowl contenders though. We were down 5 pro bowlers last night by the end of the game, including our 2 best lineman. Good time to get spanked.

We play Cincy and Chicago next, perfect teams to get healthy against and make a run down the stretch.

I was impressed with Kevin King last night. I was not impressed by Randall/Rollins once again. Those guys are still playing like they were last year which is not good.

Rodgers set another all time record so that was nice. Also...Ty Montgomery is a special football player. I'm glad we have him.

Both starting Ts out...one of main backups out as well...rough line play I knew was gonna happen sadly. Don't disagree with your overall assessment though...but I think they are a .600 team worst case.

There is zero competition within the division, even if what I would consider a failure of a season occurs the Packers will still win the division.

If we are talking fantasy football... Montgomery is the 2nd best RB through 2 weeks. I would say their run game is doing decent.

Just like the Viqueens were going to win the super bowl and week 5. Didn't even take 2nd in their division.

Starting 1-1 against those teams is a success.

We can beat up on Cincy and Chicago in the next couple weeks to get our moral back.

Hell the Packers spotted the Vikings a damn near insurmountable lead in the first half of the season last year just to make the season more interesting and the vikings still couldn't get it done.

Germ, this is an adult conversation about competitive NFL Football. The Lions have not been a factor in the divisional race since 1993.
