Three buddies and myself did our annual bow hunt to southern IL Nov 6-13. I guess we hit things about perfect in regards to rut activity, chasing, deer movement, weather, etc. I killed a great clean 10 point, one guy killed a wide nine point, third guy killed a heavy eight point with busted brow tines, and the last guy took a doe. All of the bucks grossed P&Y or better. Pretty amazing to have 100% success on an archery trip. Saw lots of deer, got them all broken down and processed, had a bunch of great meals and good times had by all. Can't wait to do it again.
