I'll take that bet. I actually live in Wisconsin, Milwaukee to be exact only 4 miles from Lake Michigan so I'm quite familiar with the resource. People should do a bit of research prior to making comments like yours. You see me and my family have to drink and recreate in those lakes so YES we take proper care to treat them wisely and with respect. We need the EPA regulations to stop both corporations and ignorant careless people from polluting these important resources. Prior to the EPA regulations companies were dumping toxic waste directly into OUR (by OUR I mean WE you, me and all the generations to come) water and onto OUR land creating hazardous conditions that effect everyone not just one political party. People need to wake up and get behind taking proper responsible care of OUR important National resources cause once there gone there gone mother nature isn't creating more. People need to stop thinking short term cause our future generations are dependent on us to protect their environment. If you voted win or lose this is YOUR government, you act like you had nothing to do with OUR government and their the enemy. WE the people are the government so if you don't like what YOUR representative is doing speak up cause that's the only way to change it. Sent from my LG-H631 using Tapatalk
There is not a corporation in the US that uses ground water and discharges water or waste where the effluent is not sampled and monitored, simply does not happen. It has happened in the past, however each state issues the permit and oversees compliance with discharge standards has been that was since the 1980's.
You call a guy an idiot/******bag because he doesn't agree with everything Trump is doing... Grow up.
As I look more into this. I'm seeing why changes need to be made. Here is a list of the 16 Federal Agencies that all have their nose stuck in as part of the GLRI. I am surprised it is able to get anything done with that bureaucratic mess to deal with. Environmental Protection Agency Council on Environmental Quality Department of Agriculture Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service U.S. Forest Service Natural Resources Conservation Service Department of Commerce National Oceanic & Atmospheric Administration Department of Defense U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Department of Health & Human Services Agency for Toxic Substances & Disease Registry Department of Homeland Security U.S. Coast Guard Department of Housing and Urban Development Department of the Interior Bureau of Indian Affairs U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service U.S. Geological Survey National Park Service Department of State Department of Transportation Federal Highway Administration Maritime Administration
I'm a trump supporter but I dont think I will agree with this. I haven't read it all but I will. I know there has to be massive cuts in spending but this seems like a high cost cut. Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
https://pubs.usgs.gov/circ/1404/pdf/circ1404.pdf This will require some reading and learning, but above are some of the projects the GLRI success. Continue on with your rhetoric, for those who want to make an educated choice, I have attached a link.
I'm not worried about it, climate change will kill us all long before the Lakes get too effed up to use.
