I found through Facebook a guy selling a trail camera. He was trying to sell a Moultrie for $60. Camera looked good so I sent a message and went and met him. The camera is a Moultrie M-888i that he sold to me for $50. The camera is flawless. Doesn't look like it's ever been in the woods. The strap was rolled up and had a the rubber band on it still. Guy said he got it as a gift and that he already has too many and won't use it. I'm not sure if he stole it from a store or if he needed some crack or heroin money. Either way score for me. This camera was obviously never in the woods at all. Sometimes ya catch a break I guess. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I loved the old M-880's but the second gen sucked so I stopped buying Moultries cameras. I don't know anything about that camera but I hope they improved them over the previous model. No reason to not believe the guy that sold it, there are a lot of cameras on the market that I would sell new if I got them as a gift for many different reasons. I also have a lot of cameras out so I can see his reasoning.
I was a big Moultrie fan but I never had one last more then 2 seasons, so I've switched, might be the brutal temps here in VT.
I've had good luck with moultrie but I only have 2 so not a lot to go on but definitely better than my wild game innovative one. Sent from my iPad using Bowhunting.com Forums
I don't mind the M-880 gen 2's, work good for me. especially when they are only $69 right now with no tax and free shipping. https://www.rogerssportinggoods.com...kuzatp_n-0oxm2ec4itIPTHzCQRVyxCxoCqjcQAvD_BwE I just bought 4 more!
