Great day for Morels

    went Schroomin today and had to come home for more bags :D I ended up with 128 Morels. They filled up 3- 1 gallon bags and 2- quart bags :) one of my best days and its actually kinda dry here. rain comming tonight then they out to be poppin again. I had found 70 more earlier of the black ones. They were tasty ;)

    I'll be huntin tomorrow after chasing turkeys in the morning. Found a few grey ones last week. We are getting a little rain right now, we could use it here too.

    John good luck on the turks and the schrooms ;) BBM, Yep you best get out, The yellows were early this year. Guys your not going to believe this but I took all those in the pics to the Auction house when I heard rumors that schrooms were going high. I got $155.00 for all in the pics total :eek: Im going back again ;) The lease might pay for its self in muschrooms :)

    I have to question your morals on morels in relation to your lease;) Make sure you don't get into trouble for selling the property, I know someone that lost a hunting spot for selling something they found on a hunting property;)

    Hell of a score though, looks like you are buying at the GTG:D

    Its all good here per my lease contract ;) but thanks for the heads up :) Me and my son found another gallon today :) good luck guys ;)

    I went looking yesterday and didn't find ANYTHING in our usual hotspots. I think the ground was dry and hard enough that a morel couldn't pop through if it had wanted to. This morning while turkey hunting though my Dad and I found 8, 4 of which were older dried up greys, and 4 were half decent sized yellows.
