I'm really looking forward to seeing what hits the ground in the next few weeks! The switch is about to flip and much blood will be spilled

Good luck out there everyone! Stay safe and shoot straight

Get well soon brother! Sorry to hear that.

I will be out in the morning in a fresh spot (for this year). I shot my buck out of this spot last year on the 28th, so who knows.

Buck Fever.....Got it Bad, ... If I get the elusive ghost that walks through my head at night I will be stoked... He is a cocky confident P&Y mulley that seems to taunt me.

    Great Antisipation, truly an understatement!

I was in my bucket truck in someones back yard this morning fixing their electric service line about 25 feet up when the neighbors dog walked out along the fence and i instictivly stopped what I was doing and picked a spot on the vitals and imagined my shot in my head. Yeah, its about that time!

Yep, should be good. I'm expecting some of our "regulars" to be dropping bucks any day now.

Heading out this afternoon for my first hunt of the year. Been remodeling the kitchen at the house, I am frothing at the mouth to get out this afternoon.

You Northern guys bum me out, all this talk of great deer movement. October is not the greatest opener for Alabama, the rut doesn't even kick in until end of January, sigh.

LOL Cablebob that's a good point. The nice part is a few counties here have been extended to Feb 10 for the season, to cover the rut. I'm taking leave the last few days of January into February and the owner of the local shop and a few others will be out at the Blue Springs WMA to hunt the rut and do some filming of the hunts. Should be fun, camp out and do some hunting and some clowning around too.

Don't worry. I'm north and I haven't seen a deer or got a daylight deer pic on my cams in a week.
