    I have a deer goal I set for myself and finally achieved a few yrs. back. Its called the grand slam of deer hunting. It is 1 deer by bow 1 deer by muzzle loader 1 deer by rifle and 1 deer by shotgun all in the same yr. just curious how many have done it.

    :) I used to call it the redneck slam. Only hunt with a bow mostly now so have not did that in a while.

    You should probably add in pistol if you're going to make it a real grand slam.

    Last season I had Bow, pistol and shotgun. Don't own a muzzleloader :(

    My cousin from Sault St Marie, MI does this almost every year. I get snuffed every year at Muzzle.

    bow only for me! yes even during our gun season. when I hunt with a gun I find myself doing stupid things that I would never do with my bow. like wind direction, walking around aimlessly, making extra noise, walkie talkies, etc. when I have my bow in hand it keeps me focused and I see more deer in gun season with my bow than I ever did with a rifle.
