Grampa buck

This old guy is going down hill.

 

He doesn't look that old to me

 

I wish I could see a buck that looks that good. hehe

Doesn't look crazy old to me..maybe I'm missing something.

 

i with everyone else, nice looking deer, not particularly old...

 

To the OP, I'm not sure where you're living at, but that looks like a solid 2 or 3 year old to me (gauged off Kansas bucks). I wish I could see a profile view of his body and I'd be able to give a better estimate. My opinion of 2-3 years old is based solely off of lack of mass, lack of character in the rack, and very little grey in the face. To me that deer is looking good, and will be really good in another year or two.

 

Doesnt look that old to me either. Id say 3.5?

 

His rack has gone down hill in the last two seasons much less mass then two seasons ago,his face also looks sunken eyes ,although legal not a shooter.

 

I think he looks pretty good. He must've really been something if you say he's gone downhill.

That's a nice buck. His rack and body don't say that he is all that old, but his face does..
