I'm thinking about picking up a nice GPS unit for shed hunting. Specifically, what I need out of this thing is the capacity to download aerial photos and be able to track my movements on the map - marking waypoints, checking my grid patterns and looking for patterns/clusters of activity.

So do any of you guys use one for shed hunting? If so, what unit would work best?

Ease of use and high-definition, color display of google maps or some other user-friendly mapping feature are a plus.

I don't have time to research this, so I'm hoping one of you girls knows something about it.

    Any words of wisdom?
