    I have a Magellan Explorist 500 gps that I want to put a better map on. Is there a mapping system that I can buy to download onto my gps so I can have a better base map? If so, which one? Thanks

    I am not familiar with the Magellen gps' but I now with my Garmin that I can plug it into my computer and download maps directly throught the Garmin website. I would think that magellen would be the same way.
