I am of the opinion the drifting to the middle is what is costing them. Certain groups just won't vote for a Republican regardles of their policies.(the poor being one which heavily supported obama, ,regardless of what the dem policies have done to them) Republicans have a large base and they need them to show up. In their minds, why show up for another moderate. (Liberal) They need to get back to their conservative roots. I would consider a Libertarian candidate if one existed. Nice job on the stereotyping. I never said black people. When you get aligned with morons who state rape pregnancy is what God intended, you are going to lose the largest voting population, women. Abortion should basically be a non issue and easily avoidable. The president can't change the law so that is all they need to say. I can't change it; regardless of my personal feelings. Just look at your poll, the base didn't show up. The woman vote did go obamas way but it wasn't a huge factor imo. If the base had shown up, it would have easily offset the woman vote.
