Happy Fathers Day to this guy: http://www.cnn.com/2012/06/11/justice/texas-abuser-killed/index.html?eref=igoogledmn_topstories
Man to punch a man to death without a blunt object to use would take some serious unleashing to do. Not that he should be charged, but I can't see punching an already unconscious guy into a bloody pulp. Better than supporting yet another child molester in our jail systems though I suppose...
I have an 11 year old daughter and I can see doing that, especially if I were to let my temper run free.
I think I could do it if I caught someone in the act and I don't even have kids. If it was anybody's child and someone caught them, beat them to death. Do you think it was the guys first time? Would you think it would be his last?
It really doesn't take that much to be fatal, if the blows landed in the right places. The temple, or an upper cut to the nose could do it, even a blow to the eyeball could do it. I'm a pretty passive person, but I can image I would unleash an uncontrollable fury if that ever happened to my daughter, and can promise the bastard would never walk again at the very least.
Woah I didn't mean to come across with the pity card for the guy. I'd have pummeled his *** too regardless who's child it was. But to be dead on the scene means he took one sadistic beating....deservedly so, I just was commenting that after I had worked him over and he laid there limp, IDK if I could keep striking him. Maybe a lucky lick killed him instantly before the guy was knocked out who knows. Either way, I'd not lose one second of sleep over such scum. Kudos for the father sticking up for his family, and to the sheriffs department for actually using common sense.
I think they ought to give the guy a medal. Also, a few punches in the right (or wrong, depending on your perspective) spots on the head, and it is fairly easy to kill a guy. Does not necessarily take a 15 minute beat down. Especially if medical attention is not provided quickly - not sure how remote this place was/how long it took EMS to respond. Once he told the 911 operator he beat a guy who was molesting his daughter, the operator should have taken a long lunch break before dispatching cops & EMS.
