Well, since my high school team is continuing to win and most likely will go to state, I have mandatory practices EVERY weekday and film sessions on Saturdays and Sundays, i have absolutely no time to hunt. I've been able to go a total of 3 times and that was all early season, and I'm missing the best part of the season, the rut. The funny thing is that I'm not even starting either, since im a freshman and our senior quarterbacks all state i just back him up and sit on the sidelines. So I practice. practice. practice, and then never play in games. sorry for the rant, i just need to vent! lol
you have MANY MANY MANY more years to hunt - enjoy HS, it was some of the best times of my life and I still have friends who I keep in contact with from over 20 years ago (I graduated in 1986...)
What he said. It only comes once, for 4 years, then its gone. AND DAMN! I just realized who you were, sack punch for chagning your login name from "over there" :D
Haha yea i figured "Steven McBee" wasnt too original... so i changed it up when i switched over to here
hang in there, and expect many more disappointing hunting seasons if you wanna keep playing ball. it only gets worse as you go to college and hopefully the professional level. comes down to this... get out when you can, appreciate the outdoors when you do get to hunt and don’t judge a successful season on whether or not you arrow a deer.
