What a wonderfull morning and a good way to start my 19 days off work. It started with an early entry sitting between two bedding areas. I had a deer cruising in front of me 30 minutes before first light, but couldnt see what it was. Shortly after i here a truck stop in the road about 500 yards away then here a rifle shot, a door slam and departure  Im pissed thinking poacher, then see the headlights and three marker lights on top of the cab pass in the distance, and it was not in a hurry. It then struck me that it was my neighbor running yote traps (he caught four this morning) After light i had a spike cruise through, shortly after a Doe at 50 yards go through, and dissaper into the thicket. At 8:30 i here deer down wind of me (not good) I see its a Doe, wind swirls and she blows once then comes marching in trying to figure out what she wiffed. She came in at 20 but was facing me,and soon marched
off to be greeted by another deer
that i could not see what it was. 9:30 comes around and
i happened to look left, i seen what i thought was a
deer in the brush but it didnt look right, i soon figured out i was looking at the shadow of a Doe walking toward me that was hidden by pine branches  I was in a big pine tree and she was clueless. She was going to go 15 yards broadside dead in front of me, i was already drawn and let her get to 20 quarting away for the perfect shot before i stopped her. The Rage flew true and i have never in 30 years seen
so much blood come out of a deer on inpact. This was my first time with the rages on deer. It looked like someone hit her with a giant paint filled baloon. perfect pass through and she bolted toward the road. I was a little over 100 yards in,and she died in less that 10 seconds 50 yards from the road  easy draggin!!
