No better feeling in the world ( being @ full draw that is). Nothing gets my blood pumping like pulling back my bow on a deer!

Dont worry !!! Opening day muzzleloader, I found out that the individual that painted the green and red dots on my Muzzleloaders safety reversed the colors.. Never looked at it before.. Tried to shoot a 10 following a Doe and could not get the gun to fire.. Went back to camp and compared it to a buddy's gun (same gun) and where his red dot was, mine was green. Checked and it was painted backwards !! AASSGGGGGGGHHH.. Next day, the cap went "POP", but did not ignite the powder.. So, A 6 point looked at me, laughed and walked off !!!

Finally got it figured out and the club shot 4 different 6 point scrub cull bucks over the week.. It will get better.. hang in there !!

I remember my first full draw. It was last season so its not like its been years. It was legal shooting light but, I had a red pin for a 20yd and couldn't see it. Had to let down. Came to full draw on another and couldn't shoot because it stepped behind a bush. Then finally had one with the perfect opportunity and flung it right over his back.

A year later I got it done. If you think drawing back an missing feels good, wait till you stick one!

Just curious, have you ever shot the gun before hunting with it?
