As some of you might know I was one lucky guy June 11th having the lucky ticket drawn at the 2011 bowhunting G2G for the Mathews Z7 extreme. I have been very lucky the last 4 years and hope it dont run out any time soon :tu: You cant win unless your there ;) One of the things I love about Archery besides hunting is tinkering with my Bows. My order came in for all the accessories and I just finished setting up the new Bow, but am still waiting on a custom sling from sling braid, and have not yet decided on a quiver for it. It was to late to shoot so it might have to wait a couple days or so. This is one sweet Bow. Im not used to such a short ATA but they made up for it with a generous brace height. SO here is the goodies I have for now.
This is one sweet stabilizer from NAP. Its the Apache 8" and features a removable carbon extension to neck it down to 5 "

Looks sweet Crik, and now you can retire that old Bowtech or give it to Hank so he isn't shooting an antique.

I gotta wonder though how big your mitts will look with 5" less ATA:tu:

    Lookin' good Goldstein! :tu:

As for that Red Eye peep - get rid of it! I put one on my Z7x and while adjusting it up and down the sharp corners cut one of the strands on my string. So I have a brand new bow that needs a string already. Do a Google search for that product and you'll see many others with similar results. They claim to have resolved the issue but I'm not taking any chances. Went back to my G5 meta peep and all is right in the world once more.

What'd I tell ya Crick? ;) ... I CRINGED when I saw a pic of it already in the string.

You can run a quick search on a certain other site and find HUNDREDS of horror stories about it...

I told Dan this too, but just as an FYI... Fletcher Tru Peep makes a red peep this year that is the EXACT same anodized red to match these new bows that the Red Eye is, and NOBODY's ever had a Fletcher cut their strings. ;) It's what I've got on my Invasion and Destroyers.

Thanks guys,,Justin, Greg was kind enough to send me a pm concerning the red eye when he seen what I said I had ordered. Thank you Greg ;) I did do that search on the other sight and seen a mixed review on the red but why take a chance? I didnt even need to slide it to get it where I wanted. I measured off my BT, made a mark on the string and it went in perfect the first try. supposedly the red eye has a new improved string groove but hey!! I basicly tied it on for some pimpin pics :tu: Its comming back off and Im going to order the one Greg suggested in red annodized.
Backcountry,,you made my mind up on what I was going to call the Bow from your coments. Looks like its named Breakfast special :tu: (Sausage and waffles) :tu:
dawg, where is the love man?

Crick, I got a Fletcher red peep that I bought for my Z7 Mag. Kept it on the bow for few weeks but took it off b/c the 3/16" was too small for my liking. If you like that size and want it, let me know.
