whent today and accepted a job offer for a underground miner! i start august 9th, go tomorrow for my physical. really excited this will be my first job with benifits and a 401k lol pretty excited! and i take quite a pay increasse too which is always good
Nice congrats! Be safe for sure! Jobs like that, safety can never be pushed enough. Dont be like many who fall asleep through safety meetings and think crazy things like "itll never happen to me", because those are the fools that break their families hearts with an early death. I work in the oil field, we have the same evil.
haha yea they are still around. this is a brand new mine with a 6ft top. and yea they pay you enough lol my buddy that works at a mine that dives a car shuttling coal underground make $90k last year, of coarse that was a lot of over time but still.
