One of my hit listers was killed by a car last week. He was #2 on my hit list. I was lucky enough to take my #1 hit list buck during the MO gun season. I was hoping to take this buck during the late bow season. Happens every stinking year on our farm.
He was a good looking animal, really wish they'd move those deer crossings to less traveled areas. So many good deer get taken out at them every year. Good luck with number three on the list.

I think I heard your sister on a talk radio show one time, lol. Sucks about the deer being roadkill, that's worse than another hunter taking him in a way...gah...sorry.
Wish there was a #3 this year. Got a good prospect for next year though if he sticks around AND doesn't get hit by a car.
I'm surprised some bubba didn't already have the head cut off before you could identify him. A buck like that here wouldn't last long dead on the side of the road. But that sucks about him getting hit though.
