Extremely excited, my dad and I are on our way home from getting permission on a section of the farm that I shot my first deer on 12 years ago! I’m so happy we finally have some private ground to hunt in the area, and a great family owns the property one that I have known since I was young. The only stipulation is that they asked we only use their treestands that are up so that they know where we are at, we will see how the season goes as they are rifle hunters but I was able to do a little scouting today and I found one stand that will work great for me after work. The farmer is also going to see if the neighbor who owns a larger chunk of the woods would mind if we archery hunted on his land where no one is currently hunting!! Here’s some of the trails and a nice rub we found in the 15 minutes of scouting. IMG_1714.JPG IMG_1715.JPG IMG_1716.JPG

Schweet! New and promising spots are awesome. Best of luck and keep us posted. We are kind of needy like that.

there's deer in dem der woods!

that stipulation isn't so bad considering, and makes sense to the property owner. Don't burn that bridge!

Man I’m excited for you! Always great to score a new place to hunt. Those are some heavily used trails. Looks like a good spot

Nice! Make sure to share part of your harvest with the farmer. It doesn't have to be much, but he will appreciate the gesture.
