nice buck and video. Where was the shot placement? I have never seen a deer do that before. Every time I have hit one, they run like hell and literally die mid stride. I've never seen a deer just stand there and take it. I think by standing there he actually was smarter when you think about it. Most deer run like hell and by doing that blood pumps like mad and they bleed out right away and die running. This guy just stood there which is probably why he lived for 5-10 minutes. Interesting. I center punched one lung and clipped the back of the offside lung. I actually have another 5-8 minutes of footage of him. I was sweating bullets because of He made the treeline he was off the property and down a deep ravine. Here is his right lung.
