I turned it up a tad, and got my Gold Tips ready.

I went with the Gold Tip Velocity Hunter 400's, and cut them to 29" per Doug's suggestion. Finished weight with a 100 grain tip is 350 grains. They came with the Acculite nocks and inserts. Since I had to readjust my sights anyway, I turned my bow up a little. It's now set at 57#, and I'm getting 261fps with my new arrows. I had also swapped to a Rip Cord rest, which I love by the way.

All things considered, I am ecstatic with it. We set my sights back in the dark, and I got lucky that horizontal was perfect. My first 20 yard group was great I think.

Anyway, it's not a dead deer yet, but I was happy and wanted to share my joy. I'm attaching a pic of my 20 yard group. :tu:

I did run into one problem, my slider sight is bottomed out for 20 yards.

I'm very happy with it right now. My 20 yard groups are consistently 2" or less. I had a 5 shot group that was around 3" because I torqued the bow on the last shot.

I'm still looking very hard at the Vendetta XS. The more good reviews I read and hear, the more I want it.
