Got my '11 Hoyt Rampage XT in today and set-up.

I'll have to say, it's a sweet shooter, Zero hand shock, It does have some vibration... just being honest. Smooth Draw, SOLID wall, smooth on the shot with just the slightest twang of Vibration... Also the quietest bow I have ever owned or shot.

Don't have any numbers yet, I should find out some speed and numbers tom. I'm in the 330grn at 60lb range though. I estimate between 280-290.

I'm not sure I like this Ripcord either, I can feel it "setting" in my draw cycle, I dont really like that, maybe I'll get used to it. Very happy with it... and It looks pretty sick, all I'm missing is my black/red cobra wrist strap and my quiver, other than that, she's ready!

I will also say it's a lot smoother than the Allegiance, and doesn't have that "kick" my ally had, but only time will tell if she's the shooter my Ally was.It does feel like it was "less" let-off than the Ally, but it's not bad, But if you've shot an Elite Pure... You have to push that thing off the wall, so compared to it, it doesn't feel like much. All in all I feel like it's Christmas!

Just trying to give a completely honest review for those seriously considering this bow, I can almost promise you, you won't find a better brand new bow for the price.

Thats a bad a** looking rig right there. I love the black and red. Also, what kind of stabilizer is that? I read an article about shooting the longest stabilizer you can get away with and it will tighten your groups. So I have been looking into it. Congrats on the new rig.

He can do just about anything you want in a Stabilizer, Camo, wraps, lengths, weights, Top notch service I would recommend him to anyone.

Mine is the 10" Dead Silent Hunter Stablizer, with a Carbon Fiber wrap and red Bowjax.

I'd poke someone's eye out with that thing, likely my own.

Good looking set-up. As far as feeling the RipCord "setting" in your draw cycle. What exactly do you mean? Cord to tight maybe?

Kind of hard to explain... when you set it in the Up position for Full containment, Then draw your bow, the rest "kicks" like it wants to drop down, but then the cable catches and pulls it back up... I can feel it when I draw and I haven't got used to it yet.

Thanks guys, I'm pretty happy with her, going to go try to line it up here in a bit.

The rest will always do that, just how it is designed. That is the lock disengaging.

I just put the "RipCord" on my bow, it doesn't do that. You might try adjusting it, IDK.

    And, NICE BOW!!!!!!

I would tell you to try and slide the cord up a little to alleviate the problem but it looks to me like its served in. Mine was installed with the little clamp thing that came with it then after adjusting where the cord needed to be attached it was served to the cable. If it bothers you that much try slipping the serving up a little bit as it sounds like the lock is disengaging just a hair to soon.
