I traded the old 450 in for a new 700 griz with power steering, all I can say after 41 miles so far is this is the nicest quad I have owned. I have tracks coming for it this winter! I got the camo package "hunter" version pictured below. I dont buy the camo for hunting puposes to be honest I like the pattern because it hides scratches so well versus the solid colors, and I tend to do a little brush crawling every now and then with mine. I also added the heated grips and wench.. Dee and I loaded it up with 150 lbs of bear bait, us two, the 55 gallon drum and about 30 lbs of other stuff and it packs a load amazingly. The stabilty of this quad is noticeably better than my former 660s and 450s. I like the higher seat stance and extra storage compartments yamaha has added. This is a nice machine to say the least.
I am in the market myself to a 700 grizz. Only catch is, I would need to sell my HD Roadking. And having a hard time doing that. Nice ride. Congrads.
Very nice Troy... Yamahas are great machines. My Arctic Cat 400 4X4 is still treating me good even though I have literally put that quad through hell.... my next will be a Can Am... they are incredible!
99 King FLHCI fuel injected, 40K miles. Changed out the leather bags with hard bags. Love her to death. She has been good to me.
great choice Shed, If the price would have been right in 2008 I would've bought a 700 Grizz over my 650h1 Arctic Cat, but the price tag talks. :D I really did love the way that Grizzly looked though.... Congrats on a awesome bike.
Let's see a big old bull or a knarly old mountain buck on the back this fall. Those tracks should be awesome in the snow too.
thanks friends.... hahaha ya, man I hate to say it but this sucker is gonna look wicked with those tracks on it.. for now shes a dream, talk about packing a load well, Its kinda like a HP mule of a quad.. if you get what I mean.. She will have no problem packing out a a whole elk with me driving.. Ryan first I hope!
Nice ride, I'd like the BIG one, but in all honesty, I can't see where I'd ever need anymore than my Kodiak 450 has for me, whether it's pulling trees out of the woods or plowing snow or grading the driveway, it's done everything I've asked of it.... And the wife and kids LOVE it too.....:D
