Got the call a few weeks back that my mount was back. Due to a lot of reasons, I wasn't able to pick him up until this evening. The guy who does the work is a small operation (only a handful of mounts a year), but he got sick this winter, and didn't start working until spring. It was certainly worth the weight. He did my dad's Wisconsin buck a few years ago, and it turned out fantastic. This one was no exception. Picture the day after the kill: Notice the little battle scar on this neck?
Good deal, I know you are happy now. Always a long wait, like waiting that nine months for the wife to give birth.
I just wanted to give my Congratulations on a job well done. The taxi did a real nice job looks like to me. That deer is something to be proud of.
He looks great! I didnt realize some of those points had some character to them, congrats again on a fine buck.
We see a lot of mounts on here, and a lot of them are nice. For some reason, this one really stands out to me. It looks great!
Nice! The only thing better than getting your hands on the mount, is getting your hands on him the first time :D
