My little one will be very happy on her last day of school a couple days before her birthday when she sees this sitting at the end of the driveway for her to drive back to the house.... While it may not quite be a Honda, Yamaha, Polaris, or Suzuki, the price is far better, and almost 50% of the price I paid for it was in shipping.... UNDER $800 for a 125cc ATV with a CVT tranny with reverse, the gear bag, and a keyless start/shut-off, delivered to my door, I can't see where I could have gone wrong....
That's awesome, Doug... I bet she'll really be ecstatic when she sees that! It'd be nice if you could video her when she gets home and as she discovers it...
Is your wife still talking to you? Ok maybe.. Please get a good helmet, chest protection and boots, gloves. Ask me how i know. Sometimes a week of riding feels like a minute and then that "I will be back in a minute feels like a week''
I agree about the protective gear for sure... She may not be a "wanna show off and see what this things capable of" kind of person, but once you start feeling brave and lose respect for one is when They'll get you. I know, cuz I'm that way...
Very cool, I bought my daughter a KFX 80 for Christmas and she's lovin it. I love to ride wheelies on this thing.
She's got a new helmet on order for the "safety guys," but I'm not going as far as a chest protector or any of that stuff, it's a utility automatic ATV, and it's gonna be ridden in relatively open flat areas. This will be here second one, she has a smaller 110 that has little 14" tires on 6" rims, that has been used and abused over the last 3 yrs. Probably has 400-500 hours on it, and still runs like a champ, only thing it's needed is some oil changes and a bit of maintenance, re-welding the frame where the chinese worksmanship was less than optimal, new battery, etc. The newer quad is of a much higher grade of worksmanship than the older one, and I suspect it will last a good long while. the forwards AND reverse CVT transmission is quite nice, and the little thing runs very smoothly. NC, I weighed my options (Honda, Yamaha vs. Chinese made), and for the $$$, I didn't see where I could go wrong. Just under $800 (vs. $2800+) and this thing is pretty nice in the overall realm. The suspension is strong enough that my 245# don't bottom it out, and it's got enough power to pull me up the slight grade without any hesitation.
The update...... Last day of school, first day of summer, and she's happy as can be..... That first ride....
