Well I cancelled my order for a black Anthem halon6 tonight. Instead picked up a camo. Mathews told me tonight March 1 ship date on the black. I could not wait that long being 3d season is starting in January and I didn't have a bow. Got it setup and tuned in 3 shots. Set my 20 yard pin tonight and its shooting ping pong balls. Ha-ha. Here is a pic.
He has a doe and a buck tag and he hunts with me on my property. But said if I get a shot at a doe I should take it to fill his tag.
I thought group hunting is only legal for firearms, guess I'm wrong again Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
Party hunting is only legal in the firearms season. Hopefully the dnr from both Mn and Wisconsin take steps to make it illegal altogether. The people who party hunt are the ones at the local coffee shop bragging about how they tagged out, then are the first ones to blame the dnr for low deer numbers...
I am shocked to hear that party hunting is legal anywhere. I am from Ohio where it is not legal, but that is mind boggeling that 1 person can shoot a deer and another person tag it.
Yeah well I was not looking to brag at my coffee shop. This is my first year hunting WI. Yes you guys are right. I guess I will be sitting patiently hoping he gets something.
I wasn't looking to start a thread about regulations. But just to hyped on my new bow. Oh well this is the internet...
Andy stop it you openly talked about filling another tag and you were ignorant of the law, don't blame the internet.
I'm not blaming the internet. Yes I did openly say that. Then I double check our regs and yes you guys are right I was wrong. I must have misread it. I just think it's funny how fast everyone on here is so quick to call someone out. Yes I was in the wrong I realize that.
Most archers or at least the older generation of bowhunters are ethical and know the rules and want to preserve and conserve. They were pointing something out to you, in a way they could have saved you from a ticket in another way we want a level playing field where are hunters try to do it right and follow game laws.
