I finally got all the parts gathered and bought and put everything together today.

My Jennings Reliant got a new string and cable. It has 70 lb limbs but will adjust down to 55 lbs for fishing. It has a 34 inch ATA which is long enough for finger shooting.

I'm using a G5 Expert 2 drop away rest. Very solid rest I'm sure it's heavy enough to stand up to bowfishing stress.

The reel seat, reel, and 3 arrows all came together in a kit from 60xcustomstrings.com

I might be more excited about fishing than turkey season.

I went to using a release with my recurve when bow fishing. Glove / fingers got wet and tore up. Good set up.

Update. I had to ditch the drop away rest. I couldn't shoot straight with it for some reason. A whisker biscuit solved my consistency woes. It just took a little super glue on the bottom bristles to hold the fishing arrow up.
