Tattoo on my arm that is. I've been thinking about this for a while and finally went and did it last night. This buck has a special place in my life. He was my first buck taken by bow back in 1996. And I killed him on my wife's birthday that year, November 9th. On the ground. On the wall. On my arm.
Dang man, you had me pumped you got it done late! But, the tat is awesome too! Keep after it this season!!!
Damn you John, I thought you scored! Well, I guess you did in a way. Nice artwork. Hey, I'm thinking it was the mustache back in '96... maybe you should sport the 'stache this weekend and see if that lifts the curse!
I'm not much of a tat guy, but that looks awesome buddy -- ESPECIALLY knowing the meaning of THAT buck.
That's awesome !! I had toyed with the same idea. I think I'm gonna do it for my next piece !! Looks great bro...
Yeah, I have to agree, I was looking online for a design and most of them looked liked cartoons or some wierd breed of deer. I was really impressed with the artist I had do my tattoo. He does some truely great work. And I really think he made it look like my buck. Thanks for the comments guys. Not planning another one any time soon tho.
Sweet John great minds think alike.. I had my first 150 I ever shot made into a euro mount with the Chinese letters for hunter underneath it.. So that way you end up with "Whitetail hunter".. Here it is..
