Got my 08 mount back

    I would have to say that that is way too long to wait for a mount...it's almost 2 yrs! Contact the Taxidermist and get the scoop why its taking this long. Did he give you an idea how long it would take when you brought him the deer? Did he take a down payment? Does he have a credible bussiness as a taxidermist?

    I got my last one back in less that 6 mos. There's nothing worse than waiting for you trophy!!!

    That definately isn't right. I would ask around to see if anyone has had any problems with him. You may want to ask him if there is a problem that he has been relectant to tell you about. If not try to get a specific date out of him for it to be finished (a fairly soon one). There may not be a serious problem, but I have seen this be a stall tactic before because of a screw up.

    I agree, my dad gets his back in under 3 months, usually. But pops usually kills whacks a friggin' monster before the rut. On the other hand, Steve had to wait like 8 years, or something for his bear rug :d
