Well today my wife Nikki and I got us a little future shed dog, retriever. His name is Ryder. He is a border collie/ heeler mix. Now I know what you are thinking. Only thing he is going to hunt is cattle. Buy I believe you can train a Dog to do anything with patience, discipline and good training methods. [IMG] I already got him part of a shed that he loves to chew on.

Nice hope he picks it up. My dog couldn't find his own ball five feet away.

You outta be able to get him to find some. I've got a full blooded heeler and he halfway looks for sheds. He chews on sheds all the time.

    Good looking pup too

Oh yeah Haha. Hopefully he picks it up easy. He can already kind of fetch and he wants to chew the shed, carry his bumper around and all that.

Yea here's a couple he "helped" find last year. I kinda found them but all day I kept throwing them and he'd go get 'em back. Couple times he'd haveta search for them so if I actually took time to work with him he'd probably catch on. They're pretty smart dogs and with yours having a little boarder collie mixed in that'll only help.

He was only about a year old in that pic.
