At the time I didn't realize what it was but I don't think I would have done that regardless. BUT when I was a kid my neighbor friend had an owl that was perched on his street light.He said watch this and went in and got a towel,wrapped it on his arm and placed some meat on it and the owl cam down and fed.This thing used to swoop us at night as we walked down the street.Apparently it was released by someone.It ended up being shot by a punk kid in the neighborhood with a BB gun.It ended up at the local zoo. Strange,I have several weird bird storied.
