I need someone who knows how to weld to make a stand I designed for me and test it for me. I posted it on the "other" site and did get a teammate to say he'd make one, but I got a feeling not soon. My neighbor said he'd make one, but once again it's way down on the list. If this stand works like I believe it will, I will offer a part of the business to whomever helps me out here. In the meantime, I guess I need to sign up for welding classes.

    Thanks,

    Mark

I have only done it once or twice and wasn't very good. Because of that I just let my uncle come over and do it all for me! Good luck with your idea!

I have a ARC and MIG welder. If you need it made out of steel I can help you.If it is out of aluminium you need a Heliarc or Tig welder which I do not have.

I don't know how heavy it would be made out of steel, but if you are willing to make one and test it out for me, I'll send you the plans.

I also have a welder (Arc). Possibly I could help you out Mark. Depends on the thickness of the metal.

The material would have to be strong enough to support 300 lbs? If you feel up to it and want to give it a try, PM me with your email address and I'll send you the plans to make one for yourself. Thanks.
