Got a "Rob" buck on cam

Looks like a decent sized buck. I wonder what happened to his left antler?

 

He's amazing Greg! And just think what he'll look like next year. LOL

 

You have some big bodied deer up their Greg. Dang, they are like small horses.

 

Nice buck. A couple years back we were seeing quite a few Rob Bucks. Last couple years you rarely see one. God only knows why they grew the way the do outside of an injury.

ok, begginer question. whats a rob buck? aside from that, id shoot him. hes a real big bodied buck.

 

They all migrated this way.

 

I can't exactly peg who started it but it's an term of endearment as far as I'm concerned on unusual bucks that I've killed 5 in the last 7 seasons.. they seem to find me, avatar pic included.

 

Rob/Pa shoots bucks like this on a yearly basis with bow. We are not talking non-typicals... we are talking messed up racks. Rob probably has the record for messed up bucks. When a picture is shown of a messed up buck or Rob killed one... we call it a Rob Buck and the name has stuck in honor of Rob. Well maybe not just in honor of Rob... we do like giving him grief. Gimpy and Mullet come to mind besides Rob bucks.

Maybe if you ask real nice... Rob will show us all his Rob bucks over the years.
