Got a plot exclusion cage picture?

    Just checked one of my plots (winter rye/peas/brassicas/buckwheat) and always cool to see what the plants look like when they are not eaten. I have to get a better cage picture of the other mix in this plot as that picture didnt turn out.

    That's a good way to see how much they're using the plot. How big of cage do you use?

    The one I have there it is about 3 feet around and 4 feet tall. I have used as little as one foot around and 2 feet high chicken wire. Anything you can make to keep the deer out.

    Here is a super super small plot of soybeans and a few plants protected just for the heck of it. It was last year in that drought as my corn looks like crap here.

    I really need to do that I think the deer are hitting my forage oats but truth is I'm not positive. I have winter wheat next to the oats and it is significantly taller.

    That looks really good man....they hit that pretty hard dont they....I dont have pics of ours but I believe its a great tool that tells you a lot

    Greg this one is clover, chicory, rape and buckwheat.
