Was going squirrel hunting this weekend so on thursday i decided to go check out the .22 rifles since the one i have doesnt work properly. I had my mind made up i was going to get one of the AR style S&W 15-22's but they had the ruger sr-22 when i got there. and with the great history of the 10/22 it was a no brainer. I paid about $40 bucks more for the ruger but it was worth it. and it was only about 70-80 bucks more than the normal 10/22's they had there... if anyone is looking for a fun, amazing accurate, and sweet looking .22 to play with give them a look..
Looks like it would be pretty fun to target practice with. I have been wanting an AR style yote gun, but I just can't see spending that much right now
Congrats on the new rifle. I briefly looked at the Ruger a couple months ago. It is a nice gun. I went a different direction with my purchase though. I am sure you will have a ton of fun with it.
